Events for April 2024

Duration: All Day | Ages 7-12

Join our Hackathon competition events and have your students test their programming skills in a fun and enriching environment! We supply the challenge task and the rest is up to the students create a program to solve the problem outlined in the task. There will be instructors present to help, teach, motivate, advise and bug test throughout the event, so students of any skill level will be well supported. Students will also have time to play each other's programs before the end of the event. Students will leave with their own programs, improved problem-solving skills, stronger programming logic and a great experience.

Sign your students up for our Maker Fair events to expand their creativity and embrace problem-solving and learning through making! We supply the objective and the rest is up to the students create whatever they want that accomplishes that objective. The main tools for creation that we supply are MakerBot 3D Printers and Lego Mindstorms EV3 Robotics kits. There will be instructors present to help, teach, motivate and advise throughout the event, so students of any skill level will be well supported. Students will also have time to interact with each other's creations before the end of the event. Students will leave with their own 3D Prints, improved problem-solving skills, stronger creativity and a great experience.

Your requests have been heard! Join us for our Minecraft event, created specifically for you! We supply the scenario and rules, and the students use game design, programming and engineering concepts in Minecraft to create something unique that accomplishes that mission. Students will have access to Minecraft, MCreator and Redstone to complete their projects. There will be instructors present to help, teach, motivate, advise and bug test throughout the event, so students of any skill level will be well supported in their process. Students will also have time to playtest and experience each other's creations before the end of the event. At the end, students will leave with all their project files, along with the skills to continue modifying Minecraft on their own.
