DESCRIPTION:Ages 7-12\nIf your students have ever wanted to make videos for YouTube or record gameplay videos\, this event is for them! In our Video Cast events\, students get the opportunity to test and play with new technology\, record their interactions with it with their commentary\, and edit their footage for their own videos. In addition to learning how to record and edit\, students will also learn about internet safety\, and no students faces or personal information will be shared. Students will leave the event with a completed video they get to take home and the knowledge to continue their own YouTube and/or streaming pursuits. This event will facilitate an environment of teamwork and the opportunity to gain insight on real applications of STEM and their practices.
